Jin obtained his Ph.D. with Jody Puglisi at Stanford University as a Stanford Interdisciplinary Graduate Fellow. He was Jane Coffin Childs postdoctoral fellow with Jonathan Weissman at UCSF, and was awarded the NIH K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award. He joined UT Southwestern as an Assistant Professor in 2020 as a Michael L. Rosenberg Scholar in Medical Research and CPRIT Scholar.

Brad obtained his PhD in molecular biology from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia in 2020. He was supervised by supervised by synthetic biologist Dr. Paul Jaschke and proteomics specialist Prof. Mark Molloy. Prior to this he did a research Masters at Macquarie and worked at Sigma Aldrich synthesizing custom oligonucleotides. He has a wide scientific interest, with a particular soft spot for phage. Outside of the lab he enjoys playing and watching soccer, grabbing a drink, and exploring all the quirky things the US has to offer.
Kaiyuan Zhu

Kaiyuan obtained his PhD from the City University of Hong Kong, where he studied how VCP participated in centrosome movement during mitosis. He has a strong research interest in studying the molecular mechanism that governs tumorigenesis and developing novel treatment strategies for cancer. In his spare time, he likes playing and watching basketball games, going to the fitness room, and listening to music.

Wan obtained her Ph.D. from Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP), Institute of Molecular Biology of Academia Sinica. She studied fungal genetics and genomics. In her spare time, she enjoys being a homebody. She likes indoor activities like binge-watch, surfing the internet. On vacation mode, she likes to travel and experience something new.
